About the EzriCare® and Delsam Pharma® Eyedrops Recall
Studies have shown multiple use containers of preservative-free eye drops are prone to bacterial contamination. All non-expired, preservative-free artificial tears products under two brand names are included in the recall: EzriCare® Artificial Tears Lubricant Eye Drops and Delsam Pharma’s® Artificial Tears Lubricant Eye Drops.
These products could be contaminated with a dangerous drug-resistant bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which can lead to severe eye disease, blindness, and death.
